Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th: Revise for Module 2 tests
Thursday 10th: Research a famous French Fashion designer and share what you found out with the class
Tuesday 8th December: look over and learn the grammar section on how to make a sentence negative for a short test
Thursday 3rd December : deadline for submitting your Mini Project on cinema or clothes and fashion
Monday 23rd: Write a short paragraph in French about your cinema habits
Tuesday 17th November: oral, be prepared to share orally a review / opinion of a film.
Thursday 12th: Write a review of a film of your choice in French
Tuesday 10th: Research the theme park FUTUROSCOPE. Write a paragraph in French about the Theme Park . Submit on line through Teams and bring a copy of the homework to class to share with the group.
Monday 9th: Learn the vocab on the cinema sheet for a test
For Thursday 5th November Write 5 lines of French about yourself and submit through Teams Assignments. Bring a copy of the homework to class so that you can share it orally with the group.
Tuesday 20th: Vocab and grammar test
Tuesday 20/10/20 : Revise for Module 1 Test: Vocab and grammar ( the test will cover the following items 1. film and cinema vocab, 2. clothes and shopping vocab, 3. present tense of regular -er, -ir, -re verbs, reflexive verbs in the present tense, irreg verbs avoir, être, aller, faire in the 9thpresent tense).
NOTE: ALL MINI PROJECTS must be handed in prior to 15th October, should be at least 5 pages in length in French and should deal with some aspect of (French) cinema or fashion and clothes.
8th October: Learn the vocab about clothes for a little vocab test
6/10/20 : Research the following French fashion designers: Christian Dior, Hubert de Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Coco Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent etc. Perhaps you could do some research on your phone, see what you find out and write out what you discover. How did the designer start, get famous, what is their fashion like?. Are there other French designers? etc. Please submit your findings by way of Teams assignments by Tuesday.
30/9/20: Write a page in French about the history of French cinema
29/9/20: Test on present tense regular verbs
28/9/20: Write a half page of French about a famous French actor (or your favourite actor). Be prepared to share this information in French with the class on Monday.
24/9/20: Learn the present tense endings of -er verbs
22/9/20 Write a review of a film in French about 10 lines in length. (You can use the vocab from either of the 2 reviews we studied in class or use your own vocab). Submit through Teams and also bring a copy to class so that you can share the review with others in the class in spoken French
21/9/20: complete some research on Futuroscope theme park. Bring in your homework to share with the class
17/9/20 Learn the vocab on sheet 2 of cinema vocab as handed out in class. There will be a test on Thurs.
14/9/20 Write 5 sentences in French about your film preferences. You can use the 5 sentences we did in class if you wish
10/9/20 Fill in the English meanings of the cinema vocab sheet and learn for a test
