Your exam consists of the following parts:

3. Reading comprehensions ( 2 comprehensions with questions in French)
4. Writing in French (For 2021 - 2 pieces of written French)

HIGHER LEVEL
1. FOR THE ORAL You can go back through your oral notes/handouts and say out loud your answers to all the questions. Try to anticipate what you may be asked and prepare for it. Revise chapters 1-9 of Tout Va Bien ( pages 11, 44-45,80-81,122-123,160-161, 200-201,240-241, 280-281, 320-321) Also 339-343 and le Carnet d'Oral
. The following topics in particular will be tested in the Oral exam:

The French Oral examination will consist of an interview. During this interview, candidates will be asked a number of questions. These will include a question or questions on each of the following topics:

Written expression (100 marks) Question 1 remains compulsory but will have a choice of (a), (b) or (c) (now worth 60 marks) Answer one other written question from a choice of five (now worth 40 marks).
Learn useful phrases for each type of writing
Revise all the grammar we have done and how to use it in context.
Practise planning written pieces making sure they are well structured with a beginning, middle and end.
Remember to work out your own weak and strong points and use whatever techniques work for your particular learning style- everybody’s different!
